Goldfields Campers & Caravans is a family business selling camper trailers, pod campers, hybrids and off-road caravans direct from its showroom in Maryborough, Victoria. The line-up starts with the Grand Duke, Sovereign and Family Fortune soft-floor campers and the Escape and Nomad pods. Above them sit the Discovery hybrids and the Rebellion caravans. Goldfields says it designs its campers in Maryborough and works with long-standing factory partners on the build. Most ranges carry a five-year structural warranty on their own pages. Base Escape
The Base Escape is a compact fibreglass pod camper with a queen-size bed and a 270 degree awning, built for an easy tow. The queen-size sleeping area has a high-density foam mattress, a roof ventilation fan and LED lighting with white and amber modes. A 23ZERO Onyx 270 degree awning shelters the side and rear of the camper. The Discovery 13GTX Low is a compact single-axle hybrid with an electric pop-top, a 600Ah lithium system and 900W of roof solar. Goldfields built it low for easier storage and towing without giving up power or outdoor living. Tare is 2,100kg against a 2,990kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass), for a payload Goldfields puts at about 890kg, with a 140kg ball weight.
