I started Caravan Compare because working out which caravan to buy was harder than it should be.Every manufacturer publishes their specs differently, a lot of prices just say "enquire now", and you can have a dozen brochures open and still not know whether your car is legal to tow the van you like.We put it all in one place so you can see it side by side.
We are not a dealer and we don't sell caravans.Caravan Compare (caravancompare.com.au) is an independent Australian website that compares caravans on the specifications their manufacturers publish.We only show figures we've checked, and we never guess the ones we haven't.There's no showroom, and nobody can pay to move their van up a list.If you find a mistake, email us and we'll fix it.
The work behind the numbers
Behind the site is a lot of unglamorous checking.We check every figure we publish against the manufacturer's own published material. Where no published figure exists, we do not guess.Every image carries a record of where it came from.When a manufacturer updates a range, we archive the old specification instead of typing over it.The full story is on our About our data page.
How we make money
- If you finance through our partner Jade Finance, Jade pays us a commission when a loan settles.
- Some accessory links pay us a small commission from the retailer.
- Manufacturers and other industry partners can also pay us for introductions and partnerships. If that is you, see work with us.
Buyers never pay us anything, and no brand can pay to change how it ranks in our comparisons.
