About the Grand Duke
The Grand Duke is a soft-floor off-road camper trailer with a queen bed, a full annex and a 300Ah lithium battery as standard. Goldfields calls it the camper that launched its range, built for long weekends and real off-grid stays.
Tare is 1,490kg without the boat rack and 1,550kg with it, against a 2,100kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass). That leaves 610kg of payload on the base tare, with a 170kg ball weight. Closed, it measures 5.3m long, 1.9m wide and 1.47m high, or 2.07m wide with the boat rack.
The queen bed has an innerspring mattress under a high canvas tent. The fully enclosed annex has individual walls, a vinyl floor and a shower tent. A stainless steel slide-out kitchen carries a four-burner stove with piezo ignition and a sink plumbed to the onboard water. A pull-out prep bench, a cutlery drawer and pantry drawers complete it. Seating is black leather-look with storage under the seats, plus a large rear storage drawer and two slide-out drawers.
A 300Ah lithium battery charges from a Renogy AC charger, a Renogy DC-DC charger and an Anderson plug solar input. A 200W solar blanket is included. Water runs to 160 litres across a 120 litre main tank and a 40 litre reserve. The fridge slide takes up to a 100 litre fridge.
The chassis and drawbar are hot-dip galvanised with reinforced gussets on the joints, on a 120mm by 50mm by 4mm ADR-tested drawbar. Independent coil spring suspension, 12 inch electric brakes and 265/75R16 off-road tyres on six-stud alloy rims carry it, with one spare wheel. Rated safety chains, two rear recovery points and an alloy internal frame with no timber are standard. Goldfields backs it with a five-year structural warranty.
Goldfields sells it direct from its Maryborough showroom in Victoria, with a deposit to secure the order and pickup at handover.
