About the Family Fortune
The Family Fortune is a soft-floor off-road camper trailer for a family, with a full annex, a 300Ah lithium battery and 160 litres of water.
Tare is 1,750kg against a 2,300kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass), leaving 550kg of payload, with a 160kg ball weight. Closed, it measures 5.31m long, 2.1m wide and 1.62m high.
The bed has a 100mm innerspring mattress. The fully enclosed awning has individual walls, a vinyl floor and a shower tent. The kitchen has a four-burner stove with piezo ignition, a pull-out prep bench, a cutlery drawer and a drawer under the sink. A fold-down table, five LED lights, storage under the dining seats and a speaker system with FM, USB and Bluetooth are fitted. The fridge slide takes up to a 100 litre fridge.
A 300Ah lithium battery charges from a Renogy AC charger and a Renogy DC-DC charger, with a 200W solar blanket included. Water runs to 160 litres across a 120 litre and a 40 litre stainless steel tank, with two 12V pumps. Two 9kg gas bottle holders are fitted.
The chassis and 120mm by 50mm by 4mm drawbar are hot-dip galvanised with reinforced gussets on the joints. Independent coil spring suspension, 12 inch electric brakes and 265/75R16 off-road tyres on six-stud alloy rims carry it, with one spare wheel. Goldfields backs it with a five-year structural warranty.
Goldfields sells it direct from its Maryborough showroom in Victoria, with a deposit to secure the order.
