Escape

The Escape is an off-road pod camper for a couple with a 300Ah lithium battery, a 2000W inverter and 200 litres of water as standard. Goldfields pitches it at travellers who want to go off-grid without giving up comfort.

Tare is 1,330kg against a 1,990kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass), leaving 660kg of payload, with a 115kg ball weight. Closed, it measures 5.1m long, 2.2m wide and 2.2m high.

The bed is a 1980mm by 1480mm caravan queen, between a double and a queen in size. The kitchen has a two-burner stove, a large deep-dish sink, a cutlery tray and a hot water tap. A prep bench with a stainless fold-down extension adds workspace. An extra-large slide-out fridge tray, gloss furnishings, a two-speaker radio, two three-speed movable fans and a 21 inch smart TV with antenna are fitted. A Darche Gen 3 180 degree awning with lights, a Darche Gen 2 shower tent, a fold-down side table and corner stabiliser legs come standard.

A 300Ah lithium battery runs a 2000W Renogy inverter with an 80A AC charger and a 50A DC-DC charger. A Renogy REGO Power One system manages it. A 150W solar panel is fitted, and the battery can be upgraded to 600Ah. Fresh water runs to 200 litres across a 120 litre and an 80 litre tank, with an external hot and cold shower outlet. USB, USB-C, 12V and 240V outlets run throughout.

The body is aluminium sheet over XPS foam with a fibreglass inner. It sits on a hot-dip galvanised 120mm by 50mm by 3mm RHS drawbar with a stone guard. Independent trailing arms with coil springs and shock absorbers, electric brakes and all-terrain tyres on alloy rims carry it. One spare wheel and an ARK 750 jockey wheel are fitted. Goldfields backs it with a five-year structural warranty and two years general cover on purchases from February 2026. A bike rack and a spare-wheel fire pit are options.
