About the Sovereign
The Sovereign is a soft-floor camper trailer built around storage for extended touring, with two spare wheels and 160 litres of water. Goldfields labels it the model with the most storage in its range.
Tare is 1,750kg against a 2,300kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass), leaving 550kg of payload, with a 155kg ball weight. Closed, it measures 5.85m long, 1.94m wide and 1.6m high.
The bed has a 120mm innerspring mattress with a built-in foam topper, under a 14oz canvas roof and walls with a tropical cover. The fully enclosed awning has individual walls, a vinyl floor and a shower tent. The kitchen has a four-burner stove with piezo ignition, a pull-out prep bench and a sink with a hot and cold mixer tap. A cutlery drawer and two LED lights finish it. A fold-down table, five LED lights and storage under the dining seats round out the living space.
Two 100Ah deep-cycle batteries feed five 12V plugs, two USB ports and an Anderson plug in the fridge box, with a digital voltage gauge. Water runs to 160 litres across a 120 litre and a 40 litre stainless steel tank, with two 12V pumps and two tank indicators. Two 9kg gas bottle holders and a jerry can holder are fitted. The current offer bundles a 100 litre dual-zone fridge-freezer, a 200W solar blanket and a 40A DC-DC charger. It adds a 240V Projecta charger, a SmartTek hot water system and a Thetford 145 toilet. It also bundles an XO750 jockey wheel, a DO35 V3 Plus coupling, gas plumbing and Victorian registration.
The hot-dip galvanised chassis has reinforced gussets, independent coil spring suspension, 12 inch electric brakes and 265/75R16 off-road tyres on six-stud alloy rims. A stone guard with mesh, a 7-pin flat plug and rated safety chains are standard. Goldfields backs it with a five-year structural warranty.
Goldfields sells it direct from its Maryborough showroom in Victoria, with a deposit to secure the order.
