About the East West 14SC
The SUV Caravans East West 14SC is a 6.35 metre off-road caravan for couples, built around a larger-than-queen bed laid east-west, across the van. It has a separate toilet and shower, a kitchenette inside and a swing-around kitchen outside.
Who does it sleep?
Two people. The bed has a larger-than-queen innerspring mattress set east-west. Overhead cupboards run through the layout, and there is internal seating with a removable table.
Kitchen and bathroom
SUV Caravans lists a kitchenette inside with a mini fridge, induction cooktop, sink and microwave. The outdoor kitchen swings around 90 degrees and has a four-burner gas stove and a windguard. A fridge slide with pantry drawers and a stainless steel fold-down bench connects to it, sized for a 95 litre Trakmate fridge freezer. The internal ensuite has a flush cartridge toilet and a separate shower cubicle.

- Suspension: Series 4 recovery suspension with galvanised swing arms, twin shocks and heavy-duty springs.
- Brakes: 12 inch electric brakes with a breakaway system.
- Tyres: 265/70R17 all-terrain tyres, with a spare mounted underneath.
- Hitch: a DO35 hitch as standard.
- Recovery: two rear recovery points and a spare bolt-on stub axle.
Power and water
- Solar: 600 watts.
- Batteries: 628 amp hours of lithium batteries.
- Inverter: a 3000 watt Renogy Rego with a 150 amp mains charger, 50 amp DC-DC charger and 50 amp solar charge controller.
- Outlets: 240 volt and 12 volt points inside and out, plus USB ports.
- Water: two fresh tanks of about 180 litres in total and a 70 litre grey tank, both monitored.
- Hot water: an integrated gas system, with holders for two 4kg gas bottles.
Roof-mounted reverse-cycle air conditioning and 12 volt fans are standard. It also has mains water connection and an external shower port.

- Toilet: a composting toilet.
