About the Outrider-15B
The Outrider-15B adds triple bunks to Stoney Creek's full-height off-road caravan. It suits a family who want standing headroom and separate sleeping for the kids.
Tare is 2,150kg against a 3,000kg ATM, an 850kg payload margin. Ball weight sits at about 200kg at tare. That is 35kg lighter on tare than the couples Outrider-15, for a slightly bigger margin.
A king bed and triple bunks share the same full-height body as the standard Outrider-15. The kitchen runs a 4-burner cooktop with a flame failure device, over a stainless sink with hot and cold water. An 85 litre external fridge slide and a 49 litre internal fridge cover the cooling. A shower and cassette toilet make up the ensuite.
A 460Ah Haidi lithium bank runs off 600W of roof solar, the same system as the couples model. A 3000W Renogy inverter handles appliances off grid.
Two 120 litre fresh tanks hold 240 litres, backed by an 80 litre grey tank. Roof-mounted air conditioning cools the cabin.
The hot-dip galvanised 6 inch by 2 inch frame carries independent trailing arm suspension with dual shocks. Two spare mud terrain tyres ride on 16 inch all-terrain rims, behind a Cruisemaster DO35 coupling. Electric brakes with a breakaway system suit the 3,000kg ATM.
Gen 3 composite walls and roof cover a chequer plate toolbox with gas and generator storage. An electric fold-out step and exterior speakers round out the standard fit-out.
The Outrider-15B lists at the same price as the couples Outrider-15. Buy it through one of six company-run branches rather than an independent dealer. A 12 month warranty covers materials and workmanship, and 5 years covers the chassis.
