About the Island 15SB
The Island 15SB is a 6.3 metre caravan for two, with twin single beds in a full-height body. It has two kitchens: a gas kitchen that swings out outside, and an induction kitchenette inside. SUV Caravans places it in its new Gold Series, and a washing machine is standard.
Who does it sleep?
Two, in single beds with innerspring mattresses. SUV Caravans says the twin singles give flexible sleeping with added storage and easy access.
Inside
The ensuite has a flush cartridge toilet, a separate shower cubicle and a wall-mounted washing machine. The kitchenette has a sink, an induction cooktop, a microwave and a rangehood. Food keeps in a 157 litre upright fridge freezer and a 43 litre fridge drawer. Roof-mounted reverse-cycle air conditioning, a diesel heater and 12 volt fans are standard. The seating has a removable table. A positive pressure system is standard. Bedside tables have storage drawers.
Outdoor kitchen
The swing-around kitchen has a four-burner gas stove with a wind guard. Two-way pantry drawers sit alongside, under a full-length electric roll-out awning.
Chassis and running gear

- Suspension: SUV's Series 4 Recovery Suspension with twin shocks and heavy-duty springs.
- Wheels: 17 inch gold alloys with 265/70R17 all-terrain tyres, and a spare underneath.

- Recovery: two rear recovery points and a spare bolt-on stub axle.
