Airlie 18R Twin

The Ezytrail Airlie 18R Twin is an 18ft rear-door off-road caravan for couples. It has a queen island bed, a separate shower and toilet and a washing machine. Tare is 2,270kg, ball weight 200kg and the ATM (aggregate trailer mass) is 3,000kg, which leaves 730kg of payload. Overall it measures 7.495m long, 2.40m wide and 3.085m high.

The queen island bed is 1570 x 2050mm, and the passenger-side L-shaped sofa converts to a 1310 x 600mm bed. Seating is napa leather around a large dining table, with flush-finish cabinetry and soft-close drawers throughout. The kitchen has a Thetford 174L fridge-freezer and a four-burner cooktop with three gas and one electric burner over a grill. A 25L flatbed microwave and a 12V rangehood complete it. A bench cabinet sits under the washing machine, with storage drawers under the bed and roof-mounted units throughout. A MyCoolman air conditioner, two 12V fans, a 28-inch smart TV, a Fusion marine media player and a wireless phone charging pad are standard. Outside are a roll-out barrel awning, a 12V electric entry step, an external media connection and an LED-lit front tunnel boot.

The chassis is fully galvanised, on Ezyrider V2 independent suspension with four Pedders shock absorbers and Bigfoot 12-inch electric brakes. The hitch is an AL-KO 3,500kg off-road ball coupling with an Ark XO jockey wheel. Checkerplate protects the sidewalls, rear wall and toolbox, with a Raptor coating on the toolbox, and the rear bar holds two 20L jerry cans. Certified front recovery points, a break-away braking system and a Euro-style tri-lock entry door are fitted. Ezytrail gives first owners a 12-month structural warranty.

Power is 400W of roof solar and two 120Ah lithium batteries. A Renogy 2,000W inverter-charger, a 50A MPPT DC to DC charger and a Renogy One Core system manage it. Water is two 120L fresh tanks and an 80L grey tank, with tank monitoring and an external shower box. Hot water is a Truma Ultrarapid gas and electric system. Two 4kg gas bottle holders are fitted. The optional Extenda Pack lifts the batteries to 470Ah and the solar to 600W. It also hardwires the air conditioner to the inverter and adds a 2kW diesel heater.

Ezytrail sells direct from its showrooms in Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia. A 10% deposit locks in the current price, and a flat freight fee covers transport to your chosen showroom. Every van is collected there after a handover with Ezytrail staff.
