About the CRX
The Design RV CRX is an off-road caravan on Titan-X off-road suspension and mud terrain tyres. It comes in couples and family floor plans, in single and dual axle. Design RV lists its dual-axle layouts at 3,500kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass).
Floor plans
Design RV lists 12 floor plans for this model.
- Couples: nine layouts from 17 feet 4 inches to 22 feet 10 inches.
- Family: three layouts with bunks, at 20 feet 6 inches, 21 feet 10 inches and 22 feet 6 inches.
- Seating: a cafe dinette or an L-shaped lounge, depending on the layout.
Power
- Battery: one 300 amp hour lithium battery.
- Solar: three 220 watt panels.
Kitchen, bathroom and comfort
- Cooking: three gas burners and one electric hotplate, with a griller.
- Bathroom: a one-piece fibreglass shower and a ceramic bowl cassette toilet.
- Climate: a rooftop reverse cycle air conditioner.
- Bed: an innerspring mattress.
- Dust: an HTP 12 volt dust reduction system.
Water and outdoors
- Fresh water: two 95 litre tanks.
- Grey water: one 95 litre tank.
- Awning: an Aussie Traveller manual roll-out awning.
- Reversing camera: standard.
Build
Design RV builds it in Pakenham, Victoria.
- Chassis: a Supagal heavy-duty chassis with a 400mm drawbar extension.
- Suspension: Titan-X off-road suspension.
- Tyres: 265/75 R16 mud terrain tyres.
- Frame: an aluminium frame is an optional extra.
What will tow it?
- Dual axle: 3,500kg ATM.
- Single axle: 3,000kg ATM.
The ATM is the most the van can weigh fully loaded. Your vehicle needs a braked towing capacity at least that high.

Delivery and freight
