About Design RV
Design RV builds touring, semi off-road and off-road caravans in Pakenham, Victoria, and sells them through dealers. Its range has six models, from the entry-level Getaway to the ACX on air suspension. Design RV says its caravans are Australian made, and every model sits on a Supagal heavy-duty chassis. The Getaway is its entry-level tourer, and the Forerunner is a leaf-spring tourer for sealed and dirt roads. The Odyssey is its entry-level semi off-road van, on independent suspension. The CRX, the Stryker and the ACX are its off-road models. The Stryker is a compact single-axle van for couples and solo travellers.

ACX
The Design RV ACX is an off-road caravan on Cruisemaster air suspension, with the most standard power in the Design RV range. It carries 600 amp hours of lithium, 880 watts of solar, a 3,000 watt inverter and a diesel heater as standard. Design RV lists it at 3,500kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass), with a 4,500kg ATM upgrade as an optional extra.
CRX
The Design RV CRX is an off-road caravan on Titan-X off-road suspension and mud terrain tyres. It comes in couples and family floor plans, in single and dual axle. Design RV lists its dual-axle layouts at 3,500kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass).
Forerunner
The Design RV Forerunner is a leaf-spring touring caravan for sealed and dirt roads, in couples and family floor plans. Design RV says it handles light corrugations with ease. It shares the Getaway floor plans, with a bigger fridge and a 28 inch smart TV.
Getaway
The Design RV Getaway is an entry-level touring caravan built in Pakenham, Victoria, in couples and family floor plans. It rides on leaf springs and comes with lithium power, solar and a compressor fridge. Couples layouts include a washing machine.
Odyssey
The Design RV Odyssey is the maker's entry-level semi off-road caravan, for couples and families. It pairs independent suspension with 440 watts of solar and a 300 amp hour lithium battery. It comes in couples and family floor plans, and Design RV notes its photos show optional upgraded hardware.
Stryker
The Design RV Stryker is a compact single-axle off-road caravan for couples and solo travellers. It has one floor plan, the 161-X, at 16 feet 10 inches. Inside are a queen bed, a cafe dinette and a full ensuite. Design RV lists its suspension at 3,000kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass).
