About the Legend Ultimate Hybrid ERV
The Legend Ultimate Hybrid ERV is a single axle off-road hybrid caravan in eight floorplans of 15, 16 and 17 feet 6 inches. It runs a 48 volt 4.8kWh lithium battery, 800 watts of solar and a Victron 5,000 watt inverter. It rides on Cruisemaster ATX airbag suspension with 12 inch hydraulic disc brakes, at a 3,000kg ATM.

- Lounge: a 100% leather bench lounge with headrests, and a telescopic turntable table leg.

- Climate: reverse cycle air conditioning and a diesel heating system.

- Inverter: a Victron MultiPlus 5,000 watt inverter.
- Charging: a 120 amp DC-DC charger and a 48 volt MPPT solar regulator.
- Solar: four 200 watt 48 volt panels, 800 watts in all.
- Water: two 95 litre fresh tanks and a 110 litre grey tank.
- Hot water: an electric hot water system.
What will tow it?
Legend lists a 3,000kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass) on every floorplan. Your vehicle needs a braked towing capacity of at least 3,000kg. Ask Legend for the tare and ball weight of the floorplan you choose, and check the ball weight against your towball limit.
How to buy
Legend's showroom is at 2 Florey Court, Somerton, in Melbourne. It also lists dealers in Victoria, Western Australia, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Legend says "All Legend Caravans are made and manufactured in Australia with the latest technology and machinery that help us produce a great product."

Legend says every range uses an aluminium frame assembled with a self-piercing rivet system rather than welding, with a one-piece fibreglass roof and a honeycomb floor.
