About the Ceduna 16R 3 Bunk MK4
The Ceduna 16R 3 Bunk MK4 is a hard-top off-road hybrid that sleeps five on a 16 foot body. It suits a family with three children who want an internal ensuite and off-grid power.
It has a 2,399kg tare and a 3,000kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass), which leaves 601kg for water, gas and gear. Five people and full tanks will use most of that, so weigh the van loaded. Ball weight is 183kg, and you need a car rated to tow 3,000kg braked.
The queen master bed measures 2,000mm by 1,530mm, with a large L-shaped folding sofa beside it. Three full-length bunks run 1,950mm by 850mm each. A self-contained ensuite holds the shower and the cassette toilet. The kitchen has a dual induction cooktop, an overhead microwave and a 153L fridge-freezer. Upholstery is genuine Nappa leather over quilted mattresses.
It is a 24 volt system. Ezytrail fits a 1,020W back-contact solar array, two 24V 235Ah lithium batteries and a Victron Multiplus-2 3,000VA inverter. The bank holds 12kWh, the equivalent of 940Ah at 12 volts. A Wegic smart circuit controller and a Victron SmartSolar 100/50 manage the system.
Fresh water is 240 litres across two tanks, and grey water goes to an 80L tank. A gas system heats the water on demand. Heating is a 2kW diesel unit, and cooling is a MyCoolman CCA3000 air conditioner.
The chassis is one-piece hot-dip galvanised steel with an extended gooseneck drawbar. Ezytrail certifies it F5 and warrants it for life. It rides on Ezyrider V3 coil independent suspension, Pedders Big Bore shocks and Bigfoot V3 12 inch brakes. 16 inch alloys on off-road tyres and a matching spare carry it. The van measures 7.32m long, 2.4m wide and 3.1m tall on the road.
Outside, Ezytrail fits a slide-out kitchen with a three-burner cooktop, an electric cassette awning, an enclosed EzyLight awning room and a rear utility box. Ezytrail warrants structure and materials for 12 months from first ownership.
Ezytrail runs eleven showrooms, and you collect from whichever one suits you. Transport to it is a flat $1,000, and the from-price excludes dealer delivery and on-road costs.
