About the XL-FF6
The XL-FF6 is the six-berth stretch of Stoney Creek's lightweight forward-fold camper. A queen main bed, a double pull-out and a convertible dinette cover the extra berths.
Tare is 1,200kg against a 1,650kg ATM, a 450kg payload margin. Ball weight sits at about 120kg at tare. The extra berths add just 40kg of tare over the four-berth XL-FF.
Queen and double memory foam mattresses cover the six berths between them. A pull-out kitchen with a cutlery drawer and table extension runs a 4-burner gas stove. A 70 litre 12/240V fridge and freezer travels with the kitchen. A hot and cold mixer sink completes the cooking area.
A 230Ah lithium battery comes standard, fed by a 160W solar panel with its own regulator. A smart 240V charger and DC-DC charger keep the battery topped up on the move.
An 80 litre poly tank carries fresh water, with hot water plumbed through to a shower. A secure, lockable fill point protects the tank from contamination.
A 4 inch by 2 inch hot-dip galvanised A-frame pairs with lightweight aluminium panels to save weight. A mud terrain tyre and spare ride on alloy rims, behind an off-road hitch rated to 3.0 tonnes. High-tensile fixings back up the twin shocks and coil springs on the suspension.
A full annexe with poles, walls and floor comes standard for camp living. A 19 inch TV with DVD and a marine-style control panel round out the fit-out.
