About the Nugget-RT
The Nugget-RT is Stoney Creek's rooftop-tent pairing camper, built for two adults. A Darche Intrepidor 2 tent folds out above the compact steel body for quick setup.
Tare is 1,150kg against a 1,600kg ATM, a 450kg payload margin. Ball weight sits at about 110kg at tare. Pack camping gear and a water tank's worth of supplies inside that margin.
Two adults sleep in the rooftop tent, off a fully welded, powder-coated steel body. A pull-out kitchen runs a 2-burner gas stove behind wind protection, with cutlery and utensil drawers. A fridge or freezer up to 70L is available as an option.
Two 100Ah lithium batteries give 200Ah of standard capacity. A 160W solar panel and a DC-DC charger keep them topped up while towing or camped.
An 80 litre tank carries fresh water on board. Hot water runs plumbed through to a shower.
Independent trailing arm suspension rides on twin shocks and coil springs. Mud terrain tyres on alloy rims sit behind an ADR-approved off-road hitch, with 12 inch electric brakes. A powder-coated, fully welded steel body skips the angles and pop rivets of a bolted design.
The Darche awning and rooftop tent come standard, alongside dual jerry can holders and a fire extinguisher. The factory fits solar wiring and an Anderson plug as standard.
Six Stoney Creek branches sell and service it, from Bundamba to Wangara. Materials and workmanship carry a 12 month warranty, and the chassis carries 5 years.
