About the Nugget-SF
The Nugget-SF is Stoney Creek's soft-floor camper for two, the ground-level sibling of the Nugget-RT. A queen-style bed unfolds inside a canvas soft floor rather than a rooftop tent.
Tare is 1,140kg against a 1,600kg ATM, a 460kg payload margin. Ball weight sits at about 105kg at tare. That is 10kg lighter on tare than the rooftop-tent Nugget-RT, for a near-identical margin.
The queen-style bed suits two adults, with a high-quality mattress standard. A pull-out kitchen pairs a 2-burner gas stove with an electric mixer tap and stainless basin. A fridge and freezer up to 70L come fitted as standard on this model.
Two 100Ah lithium batteries give 200Ah of capacity from the factory. Solar runs from 200W up to 300W, backed by a DC-DC charger for towing.
An 80 litre poly tank holds fresh water. A plumbed system feeds hot water to the shower.
A 6 inch by 2 inch hot-dip galvanised A-frame carries a seam-welded steel body. Independent trailing arm suspension and mud terrain tyres handle the rough stuff, on an ADR-approved off-road hitch. Electric brakes sized to the 1,600kg ATM bring it to a stop.
A full annexe with poles and floor extends the living space at camp. An LED TV point, marine-style control panel and fire extinguisher round out the fit-out.
The Nugget-SF lists at the same price as the rooftop-tent Nugget-RT. The maker sells and services it through six branches across the mainland states. Expect 12 months of cover on materials and workmanship, and 5 years on the chassis.
