About the Scout-11B
The Scout-11B fits twin bunks into Stoney Creek's Scout-11 hybrid body. A queen bed suits the parents, and the lower bunk folds down to dinette seating by day.
Tare is 1,660kg against a 2,500kg ATM, an 840kg payload margin, the same figures as the couples Scout-11. Ball weight sits at about 150kg at tare. A family travelling with the bunks made up will use a fair share of that margin.
Twin bunks sit opposite the queen bed, sleeping four in total. A pull-out kitchen runs a 4-burner cooktop with a flame failure device, over a stainless sink. An 85 litre 12V fridge and freezer handles the cooling. A shower with a removable head and a Thetford cassette toilet share the ensuite.
Two 100Ah lithium batteries give 200Ah of standard capacity, fed by 300W of roof solar. A 2000W inverter is available as an optional extra rather than fitted standard.
Two fresh tanks hold 200 litres between them, with a grey tank alongside. Gas and electric power together heat the water.
The frame, suspension, tyres and coupling match the couples Scout-11 exactly. Electric brakes with a breakaway system suit the 2,500kg ATM.
240V power management and a wind-out awning come standard. A marine-style control panel and a 24 inch smart TV round out the fit-out.
The Scout-11B lists at the same price as the couples Scout-11. Six company-run branches sell and service it, from Queensland to Western Australia. A 12 month warranty covers materials and workmanship, and 5 years covers the chassis.
