Scout-15B

The Scout-15B adds twin bunks to Stoney Creek's largest hybrid body. The bottom bunk folds down to lounge and dinette seating by day, sleeping four at night.

Tare is 2,305kg against a 3,000kg ATM, a 695kg payload margin, the same figures as the couples Scout-15. Ball weight sits at about 165kg at tare. A family running the bunks folded out will use a solid share of that margin.

Twin bunks sit opposite a king-size memory foam bed. Inside, a 2-burner induction cooktop sits over a sink with a hot and cold tap. A 49 litre internal fridge and an 85 litre external dual-zone fridge cover the cooling. A separate toilet and an internal shower make up the bathroom, on Truma gas and 240V hot water.

A 460Ah Haidi lithium battery bank runs off 600W of roof solar, matching the couples Scout-15. A 3000W Renogy inverter handles appliances off grid.

Two 120 litre tanks hold 240 litres of fresh water, backed by a 75 litre grey tank. Double-glazed windows with screens and block-out blinds line the cabin.

The electric pop-up roof and slide-out external kitchen match the base Scout-15. Two spare mud terrain tyres travel with the van, on the same chassis and suspension as Scout-15.

A 24 inch smart TV with touchscreen entertainment comes standard. Truma reverse-cycle air conditioning and a power-operated step round out the fit-out.

The Scout-15B lists at the same price as the couples Scout-15. Six branches across the mainland states sell and service the range. A 12 month warranty covers materials and workmanship, and 5 years covers the chassis.
