About the Seclude Core 18'6
At 18'6, the Seclude Core is the mid-size single-axle van in Oz Off Road's entry couples tier. It keeps the Core fit-out and adds a little more length over the 16'6.
Tare is 2,260kg against a 3,000kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass), for a 740kg payload. That is enough for a couple travelling with full water tanks and camping gear.
A queen inner spring mattress sits on an extendable gas strut lift-up base. Cabinetry runs on piano hinges, with a stainless steel sink and modern splashback in the kitchen.
The Core tier ships without solar or a lithium battery as standard. Power runs off 240V, 12V and USB points until buyers add a lithium upgrade. A washing machine and an external shower are optional extras, not standard fit.
Fresh water is two 95 litre tanks, with a 95 litre grey tank underneath. A gas/electric stove and reverse-cycle air conditioning are both standard.
The chassis is an off-road build on on-road suspension, with tinted glazed windows and an entry door security screen closing up the cabin. DO35 hitch and 16 inch alloy wheels carry it on the road. An independent off-road suspension upgrade and an extended A-frame are both available as options.
Oz Off Road fits a 270 litre fridge, microwave, LED strip lighting and an Omni TV antenna. A skylight roof hatch, an entry grab handle and an external waterproof speaker are all standard. Block-out blinds, flyscreens and two 12V fans cover the rest of the cabin.
You order this van from the Penrith factory and wait 12 to 16 weeks for delivery anywhere in Australia. The warranty covers the structure for 24 months and the chassis for 5 years from the original purchase date.
