About the Seclude Sport 16'6
The Seclude Sport 16'6 opens Oz Off Road's mid-tier couples range on a single axle. It keeps the Core's compact hybrid footprint and spends the extra money on equipment instead.
Tare is 2,150kg and the ATM (aggregate trailer mass) is 2,800kg, the same figures as the Core 16'6. Payload is 650kg, even with the Sport tier's added equipment on board.
The caravan queen bed sits on an extendable gas strut lift-up base, with piano hinges throughout the cabinetry. A 274 litre compressor fridge, a gas/electric hob and grill and a microwave fit the kitchen. A gas/electric hot water system and a 12V rangehood round out the cooking end.
A 300Ah lithium battery and three 220W solar panels come standard on the Sport tier. A Multiplus-II 12/2000/80-32-230V inverter charger and a 30A DC-DC charger manage the power. A Cerbo GX and a Touch 50 screen give a readout of the whole system.
Oz Off Road fits two 90 litre fresh water tanks and a 90 litre grey tank. A Seaflo water pump and an external hot/cold shower are both standard. A Dometic Fresh Jet air conditioner and a diesel heater are both standard.
The chassis rides on Shine Xt off-road suspension rather than the Core's on-road setup. An 8 inch jockey wheel, stabiliser legs and brush bars sit alongside a water tap on the A-frame. 16 inch alloys, all-terrain tyres and a DO35 hitch complete the underside.
An aluminium frame body on a honeycomb floor carries front and rear LED light bars and an Aussie Traveller awning. A Fusion stereo, an external TV point and an internal TV point with Cowfish antenna are also fitted. An AL-KO ESC system and a Safety Dave reverse camera cover the safety fit-out.
Oz Off Road sells factory-direct from Penrith, NSW, with delivery Australia-wide taking 12 to 16 weeks. Oz Off Road warrants the structure for 24 months and the chassis for 5 years, both from the original purchase date.
