Parkes 14R Twin MK4

The Ezytrail Parkes 14R Twin MK4 is a compact hybrid off-road pop-top for two. It has a king bed, a 24V Victron power system and an internal ensuite. Tare is 2,237kg, ball weight 198kg and the ATM (aggregate trailer mass) is 3,000kg, which leaves 763kg of payload. Overall it measures 6.69m long, 2.40m wide and 2.77m high.

The king bed is 2000 x 1840mm with under-bed storage, beside a large L-shaped folding sofa and a gas-lift table. The ensuite has a shower and toilet with a zippable wall extension. The internal kitchen has a dual induction cooktop, a sink with a bamboo cutting board and a Dometic NRX1130 fridge-freezer. Outside, a lightweight slide kitchen carries a sink, a hot and cold mixer tap and a three-burner cooktop. An Ezyhab inside-outside pantry and a fridge slide sit beside it. Storage includes soft-close drawers, a full-height rear fridge and pantry cabinet, a wall cabinet by the bed and a new rear body toolbox. A MyCoolman air conditioner, a 2kW diesel heater, a 24-inch smart TV and a Starlink connection point are standard. The pop-top, the awning and the entry step are all 12V electric, and an Ezy-Lite annex room with anti-flap kit, skirt and floor is included.

The chassis is one-piece hot-dip galvanised F5-certified steel with an extended gooseneck drawbar and a lifetime warranty. Suspension is Ezyrider V3 coil independent with an anti-roll bar, locking adjusters and four Pedders Big Bore shock absorbers. Brakes are Bigfoot V3 12-inch with off-road magnets, on 16-inch alloys with mud-terrain tyres and one spare. A checkerplate tunnel boot toolbox with a slide drawer and a Raptor-coated deflector shield are fitted. A rear utility box carries the spare wheel, lockable storage and recovery tracks. The 3,500kg off-road hitch, break-away brakes, front and rear recovery points and jack points are standard. Ezytrail gives first owners a 12-month structural warranty on top of the lifetime chassis cover.

Power is 850W of anti-shading solar and two 24V 235Ah lithium batteries, 12kWh in total, in a through-floor enclosure. A Victron MultiPlus-II 3,000VA inverter with a 70A charger runs the system. A Cerbo GX interface, a 360W DC to DC charger and a SmartSolar MPPT complete it. Water is two 120L fresh tanks and an 80L grey tank, with pressurised filling, tank monitoring and checkerplate guards. Hot water is instantaneous gas with digital temperature control, and there is an external hot and cold shower. A wifi reverse camera with an in-car screen is included.

Ezytrail sells direct from its showrooms in Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia. A 10% deposit locks in the current price, and a flat freight fee covers transport to your chosen showroom. Every van is collected from a showroom after a handover with Ezytrail staff.
