About the Tungsten X-Treme X
The Urban Caravans Tungsten X-Treme X is Urban's top Tungsten off-road caravan, built in Melbourne on a 24 volt Victron power system. It has a 5,000 watt inverter, gas continuous hot water and a composting toilet. Airbag suspension, disc brakes and an electric jack are standard.
Chassis and running gear
- Suspension: 4.3 tonne airbag suspension.
- Hitch: a DO45 coupling.
- Brakes: disc brakes.
- Drawbar: a 500mm gooseneck A-frame extension, with an electric jack.
Power and water
- Power: a 24 volt Victron system with a 5,000 watt inverter.
- Hot water: gas continuous hot water.
Inside
- Kitchen: a hybrid cooker with an oven and a stone benchtop.
- Bathroom: a composting toilet.
- Heating: a diesel heater.
