About Urban Caravans
Urban Caravans builds off-road caravans and a compact hybrid in Melbourne, with TIG-welded aluminium frames. Urban says its caravans are Australian made and Australian owned, and its main production facility is in Melbourne. It sells through dealers in every mainland state and New Zealand. The Tungsten range runs from the Track touring van to the X-Treme and X-Treme X off-grid vans. The Armorlite is a compact hybrid with a pop-top. The SKT Signature Series sits at the top, with a 600 amp hour lithium system.

SKT Signature Series
The Urban Caravans SKT Signature Series is Urban's top off-grid caravan, 2.2 metres wide and built in Melbourne. It carries 600 amp hours of lithium, 1,540 watts of solar and a 3,000 watt Victron inverter. It rides on TerraGlide airbag suspension with four disc brakes.
Tungsten Armorlite
The Urban Caravans Tungsten Armorlite is a compact off-road hybrid with a pop-top, built in Melbourne on a single axle. It carries 300 amp hours of lithium and cooks inside or out. It comes in Standard and Family layouts.
Tungsten Track
The Urban Caravans Tungsten Track is an off-road touring caravan built in Melbourne. It comes in six layouts, from the 18 Series Cafe to the 22 Series Centre Ensuite. It sits on independent tandem suspension with a DO35 hitch. It has lithium power, a 274 litre fridge, air conditioning and a washing machine.
Tungsten Tuff
The Urban Caravans Tungsten Tuff is Urban's entry off-road caravan, built in Melbourne on a 200mm trussed chassis. It comes as a tandem or a single axle, in six layouts. It carries 200 amp hours of lithium, 500 watts of solar and an external hot and cold shower.
Tungsten X-Terrain
The Urban Caravans Tungsten X-Terrain is a full off-road caravan built in Melbourne, on a 300mm trussed chassis with full underbody armour. It rides on 4.3 tonne independent coil suspension, or 3 tonnes on the single axle. It comes in 18 Series single-axle and tandem layouts.
Tungsten X-Treme
The Urban Caravans Tungsten X-Treme is an extreme off-road caravan built in Melbourne, with airbag suspension and disc brakes. It carries 400 amp hours of lithium, 1,000 watts of solar and a 3,000 watt inverter. A diesel heater and Starlink provision are included.
Tungsten X-Treme X
The Urban Caravans Tungsten X-Treme X is Urban's top Tungsten off-road caravan, built in Melbourne on a 24 volt Victron power system. It has a 5,000 watt inverter, gas continuous hot water and a composting toilet. Airbag suspension, disc brakes and an electric jack are standard.
