About the Scout-X Plus
The Scout-X Plus stretches Stoney Creek's entry hybrid to a full internal ensuite. It sleeps two as standard, trading the Scout-X's extra berth for a fixed bathroom.
Tare is 1,577kg against a 2,200kg ATM, a 623kg payload margin, bigger than the standard Scout-X. Ball weight sits at about 175kg at tare. That extra margin covers the added weight of the ensuite and its water.
A queen bed sits ahead of the internal ensuite. A pull-out kitchen with heavy-duty rollers runs a 3-burner cooktop over a stainless basin. An 85 litre fridge and freezer slides out beside the kitchen. A shower with a removable head and a cassette toilet make up the ensuite.
A 230Ah lithium battery comes standard, fed by 300W of roof solar. A 2000W Renogy sine wave inverter powers appliances off grid.
Two tanks carry fresh water: 50 litres and 80 litres, for 130 litres total. An 80 litre grey tank catches the run-off; a gas system heats the water.
A hot-dip galvanised frame rides on independent trailing arm suspension with twin shocks and coil springs. A mud terrain tyre and spare sit behind a Cruisemaster DO35 coupling. Checker plate protects both water tanks from stone strikes underneath.
A 270 degree awning and LED lighting come standard. A 22 inch smart TV and entertainment unit round out the fit-out.
Six company-run branches sell and service it, from Queensland to Western Australia. Materials and workmanship run to 12 months of cover, the chassis to 5 years.
