Crew Core 18'

The Crew Core 18 is Oz Off Road's entry family van, built on a single axle for easier towing. It suits a family who want bunk space without stepping up to the bigger dual-axle Crew sizes.

Tare is 2,160kg and the ATM (aggregate trailer mass) is 2,500kg, for a 340kg payload. That keeps the van light enough for a mid-size wagon or ute to tow.

The main bed sits on an extendable gas strut lift-up base, the same as the Seclude range. A gas/electric stove and stainless steel tapware fit the family-sized kitchen. Piano-hinged cabinetry and a modern splashback finish the fit-out.

The Core tier ships without solar or a lithium battery as standard. Buyers can add a Nexus or Victron lithium system as an upgrade. Electronic stability control, a reverse camera and a washing machine are also optional.

Two 95 litre fresh water tanks feed one 95 litre grey tank, tracked by water level gauges. Reverse-cycle air conditioning comes standard; a diesel heater is optional.

Aluminium composite walls sit on a timber frame, with tinted glazed windows and an entry door security screen. The chassis is an off-road design on on-road suspension, with an independent off-road upgrade available. 16 inch alloys and all-terrain tyres carry a DO35 hitch and a bumper bar.

A 270 litre fridge, a microwave and an Omni TV antenna are all standard. A skylight roof hatch, a drop-down picnic table and a battery box are also fitted. A single-door toolbox with gas bottle holders sits outside, behind a spare tyre on the bumper. Fire extinguisher, smoke and CO2 alarms and a breakaway system cover the safety basics.

Oz Off Road builds every van at its own factory in Penrith, NSW, and delivers Australia-wide on a 12 to 16 week lead time. Oz Off Road warrants the structure for 24 months and the chassis for 5 years, both from the original purchase date.
