About the Utility Trailer
The Marlin Utility Trailer is an off-road trailer with a kitchen, water and power in its base and an open top for a roof-top tent. It sleeps up to two in a swag or roof-top tent, and weighs from 500kg empty. It comes as a low-side or a high-side trailer, and the roof of either can carry a roof-top tent and awning.
Kitchen, power and water
- Kitchen: a deluxe kitchen as standard. Other kitchens range from slide-outs to smaller tailgate models.
- Water: a 60 litre tank with a hot water system.
- Battery: 100 amp hours of lithium with a 1,200 watt inverter.
- Solar: a 100 watt panel.
- Outlets: USB and cigarette-lighter sockets in the main section and near the kitchen.
The top half
- Your choice: Marlin builds the top to order.
- Storage: one option is a large storage area with two side doors, for swags and camping furniture.
- Sleeping: the roof takes a roof-top tent and awning, which Marlin can supply from 23Zero or Bush Company.
Chassis and running gear
- Chassis: 50mm RHS steel, with a 100 by 50mm drawbar 1,500mm long.
- Axle: a 45mm square axle.
- Suspension: eye-to-eye rebound springs, or Cruisemaster independent suspension to order.
- Brakes: 10-inch electric and mechanical drum brakes, with a handbrake.
- Wheels: 235/75R15 all-terrain tyres on black steel rims.
Drawbar, protection and warranty
- Protection: front steel bash plates and a rear recovery receiver.
- Hitch: an ARK XO off-road hitch, which still takes a ball.
- Drawbar: a vertical spare wheel holder, a checker plate toolbox and a 150mm PVC pole carrier.
- Rear: dual stabiliser legs.
- Warranty: two years from the date you collect it.

- Tare: from 500kg, its empty weight as built.

Marlin sells direct from its base at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast, and delivers Australia-wide. Marlin says: "all our camper trailers are custom-built, right here at our premises on the NSW Central Coast, tailored for the individual order requirements".

Trims run Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate on a choice of on-road, off-road or extreme off-road trailers, so you pay only for the gear you want.
