About The Queen 26'1
The Queen is a 26ft 1in tandem-axle van entered through a rear door. It suits a couple who want the most space Highclere builds and can tow the heaviest van in the range.
Tare is 2,950kg and Highclere quotes ATM at 4.0 to 4.2 tonnes, a range that spans the three build tiers. Ball weight is 420kg. Both figures are the heaviest in the batch; check your tow rating and towball limit carefully. Ask your dealer which tier a quoted weight or price describes.
The east-west queen carries a 6ft 2in pillow top mattress. Inside, an east-west island queen frees the floor for a rear club lounge and walk-through kitchen. Highclere fits a full-height fibreglass shower, cassette toilet and 3.5kg top-loading washer in the rear ensuite.
Dynasty cooks on a gas and electric mini grill with a pot drawer. A full oven replaces it on Carnarvon and Grand Explorer XT. Reverse cycle air conditioning is standard at every tier. The fridge is 188 litres on Dynasty and Carnarvon, 224 litres on Grand Explorer XT.
Battery size climbs with the tier you choose. Dynasty runs one 100Ah AGM cell and 210W of solar; Carnarvon runs two 120Ah AGM cells and 420W with BMPro monitoring. Grand Explorer XT runs two 150Ah lithium cells, 630W of solar and a Victron 3000W inverter.
Every tier carries two 95 litre fresh tanks. Only Carnarvon adds a separate 100 litre grey tank. Hot water runs on gas and electric.
Australian Supagal steel forms the chassis, on a 6 inch main frame and A-frame. Dynasty gets semi off-road suspension, Carnarvon gets full off-road. Grand Explorer XT tops out with its own truss chassis and air bag suspension. Entry-level Dynasty gets ribbed aluminium sides and a fibre roof. The two higher tiers get composite aluminium sides and a composite roof.
Highclere backs the whole of The Queen with a 5 year warranty, at any tier. Highclere builds The Queen in Epping, Victoria and sells it through one dealer per state. Your state dealer quotes the price, and Epping takes Northern Territory enquiries direct.
