Glacier 16

The Glacier 16 is an off-road hybrid for a couple who want more room, with a queen bed, a full ensuite and 900Ah of lithium. Arctic rates it to sleep four.

Tare starts at 2,430kg against a 2,990kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass), leaving up to 560kg of payload, with a ball weight from 200kg.

The main bed is a luxury queen, and the full ensuite combines a shower and toilet. A split door adds security and ventilation, and Eurovision double-glazed windows insulate the cabin. A galley kitchen outside doubles as a wind block, with a GPO off the inverter for small appliances and a TV point for outdoor viewing. A tunnel boot, pole storage and living-area cupboards take the gear, and an internal fridge and microwave are optional.

The Core build runs three 300Ah lithium batteries, 900Ah in all, through a 3000W inverter with the air conditioner wired in. A Renogy One Core display, a Renogy 50A DC-DC charger with MPPT and 600W of Renogy Shadowlux roof solar complete it. The Extreme build swaps in a 10kW 48V lithium system, a 3600W 48V inverter and Ecoflow management, on the same chassis, cabin and fit-out. Fresh water runs to 240 litres across two 120 litre tanks, with an 80 litre grey tank. A Truma Ultrarapid 14 litre gas and electric hot water system and a Webasto reverse-cycle air conditioner are standard.

Pedders Big Bore 4x4 shocks, rock sliders and a Cruisemaster DO35 off-road coupling carry it, with one spare wheel that can be doubled. Options include self-levelling airbag suspension, a 540 awning, an induction cooktop, a composting toilet, an electric opening roof and dust reduction. A full-height roof with overhead storage is also on the list.
