About the SC15 Double Bunk
The SC15 Cruiser Double Bunk is a 15ft hybrid pop-top built for a family, the longest bunk layout in the range at 6.65m. It suits a couple travelling with two or three children.
Tare sits at 2,500kg against a 2,990kg ATM, a 490kg payload margin, the tightest in the SC15 line. Ball weight comes in at about 230kg.
A pop-top roof lifts electrically to sleep two adults plus two or three children on front bunks. Stainless steel forms the slide-out kitchen, fitted with a four-burner cooktop, a sink and a drying rack. A Dometic NRX115 fridge and freezer runs alongside it. The bathroom combines a shower and Thetford cassette toilet inside, plus an external hot and cold shower with a removable ensuite tent.
A 3000W Renogy inverter draws on a 300Ah lithium battery, charged by 600W of roof solar and a 50A DC-DC charger.
Two 120 litre tanks hold 240 litres of fresh water between them. Grey water drains to an 80 litre tank.
A full aluminium frame sits over a honeycomb composite floor, on a hot-dip galvanised chassis. Heavy duty independent trailing arm suspension runs on Bionic RV nitro gas shocks, behind an Ark XO Extreme off-road hitch. Electric drum brakes, 12 inches across, work with a handbrake and Kenda Klever 265/75R16 tyres on alloy rims.
A wireless reverse camera, a 24 inch smart TV and a Dometic reverse-cycle air conditioner join the electric roof and awning as standard.
Southern Cross sells the SC15 Cruiser Double Bunk direct from Cockburn Central, Perth, skipping a dealer network altogether. Parts and labour carry a 12 month warranty, and the structure carries 5 years.
