About the XRider
The Millard XRider is a semi off-road touring caravan with couples floor plans from 16ft 8in and family vans from 20ft 6in. Couples plans sleep two, and family plans add double or triple bunks. The ensuite has a separate shower and toilet, and lithium batteries, solar and air conditioning are standard.
Floor plans
- Couples: from 16ft 8in to 23ft.
- Family: from 20ft 6in to 23ft, with double or triple bunks.
- Pop-top: four floor plans have a pop-top roof.
- King bed: in the 20ft 6in and 22ft 6in family vans.
Inside
On some plans the bedhead tilts up, so you can sit up in bed to read. Laid flat, the mattress is 2 metres long. The kitchen has a Thetford dual-fuel cooker with a fan-forced oven, and a 23 litre microwave. Some models have a washing machine, and an AuFocus 2kW diesel heater is standard.

- Length: 7.631 metres overall on the shortest plan without a pop-top.
- Width: 2.5 metres, or 2.445 metres on the pop-tops.
- Height: 3.04 metres, or 3.15 metres on the pop-tops.
Chassis and running gear
- Chassis: Alko.
- Suspension: Cruisemaster ATX on single-axle vans, Alko Enduro independent coil springs on tandems.
- Brakes: 12 inch electric.
- Tyres: 265/75 R16.
Power and water
- Batteries: two 100 amp hour lithium.
- Solar: two 220 watt panels.
- Inverter: wired ready, with a 2,600 watt inverter as an option.
- Water: two 95 litre fresh tanks and a 110 litre grey tank.
- Gas: two 9kg bottles.
- Fridge: a Dometic fridge, 180 or 216 litres depending on the van size.
- Cooling: 3.5kW reverse-cycle air conditioning.
What will tow it?
The ATM (aggregate trailer mass) depends on the floor plan and axle you choose. Ask the dealer for the ATM of your exact van, then check your vehicle's braked towing capacity against it.
Where to buy
Millard sells through authorised dealers, and warranty claims go first to the dealer who sold the van. Millard gives a 5-year structural warranty and a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. Millard lists the price on application, so ask a dealer what your floor plan costs.

Delivery and freight
If there's no dealer in your state, most brands deliver Australia-wide. You can also collect from the factory. Interstate freight is a real cost, often a few thousand dollars, and it climbs with distance, so factor it in before you commit.
