About the Trooper
The Trooper is the heart of Lotus Caravans' off-road range, built in twenty floorplans from 18ft 9in to 24ft 6in for singles, couples and families. Bedrooms come north-south or east-west, with double, triple or quad bunks in the family plans.
Inside are rainfall benchtops, fibreglass walls and ceiling, honeycomb flooring and leather lounges. The kitchen has a full convection oven, a flexi-induction cooktop and a 216L 12V ventless compressor fridge.
The body sits on a full aluminium frame using Lotus's AL+ system, with fibreglass walls, Hume doors and a gooseneck A-frame. The truss chassis with drop gooseneck was designed with S&M Chassis to cut weight and hitching height. It rides on Cruisemaster XT air suspension with the Body Control System and custom 17-inch Dirty Life wheels. Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek 34-inch tyres and 12-inch off-road brakes finish it.
Power is 600Ah of REDARC lithium, a REDARC 3,000W inverter and 1,050W of solar. Water is two 95L tanks with on-demand hot water.
Pricing excludes on-road and delivery costs. The LC Customs styling pack, stealth solar bracket, drag wing, stealth toolbox and premium ET pack are listed as standard. Lotus quotes weights per build through its dealers.
