About the Rough Rider
The Rough Rider is the only Little Guy camper with off-road suspension, made in Taree, New South Wales. It is rated to an 814kg ATM (Aggregate Trailer Mass) with a 550kg tare and a 64kg ball weight, leaving 264kg of payload. A fully optioned build lifts that tare to 646kg. The cabin is 2,525mm long outside and 1,515mm wide inside, which takes a queen size mattress. It runs a 45 x 45mm square bar axle on leaf springs with shock absorbers, 15 inch steel rims and 235/75 tyres. It carries the same 1,470 x 400mm A-frame platform and galley storage as the Cruiser. Little Guy fits a Cruisemaster off-road coupling, and says the 15 inch wheels give it more ground clearance than the Cruiser.
