About the 18.6 Elevate
The Alpine Campers 18.6 Elevate is an 8.3 metre dual-axle hybrid caravan with an electric pop-top roof, sleeping two or four. Prices start at $149,990, and it travels 2.56 metres high with the roof down. Alpine says the lower travel height and the 2.16 metre width give access to tighter touring tracks.
Who does it sleep?
The couples layout sleeps two, on a queen bed or two single beds, with walk-around space at the foot. The family layout sleeps four and adds bunks.
Inside
A full rear ensuite holds a separate shower and toilet. You can choose a 200 litre fridge-freezer or an under-bench fridge. Its twin, the 18.6 Explor, has the same length with a full-height hard-top.

Alpine sells direct from its headquarters and showroom at Kunda Park, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Its family models page also names a Melbourne showroom, open by appointment. You can buy a van Alpine has built for stock, or order one built to your spec. Alpine covers the composite body with a 5-year structural warranty, plus a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
