About Avida
Avida builds motorhomes and campervans at Emu Plains in Western Sydney, NSW. It started building in Australia in 1965 and is still owned by the founding family. Avida says it employs more than 200 people and builds over 600 RVs a year. Its walls, floor and roof are timber-free one-piece sandwich panels, which Avida says resist dents and hail. Its models list a 60 month structural guarantee and 60 months of capped price servicing. Avida sells through dealers across Australia and New Zealand, and has no sales yard at its head office.

Beechworth
The Avida Beechworth is a 7.85 metre motorhome on an Iveco Daily 50C, with single beds or an island bed. It drives on a standard car licence and can tow 3,500kg with the optional tow bar. It comes as a B-Type with storage over the cab, or a C-Type with a second bed over the cab.
Birdsville
The Avida Birdsville is a 7.4 metre motorhome on a Fiat Ducato, with a large slide-out room and a rear bathroom. The slide-out holds the dinette, wardrobe and bed, and extends at the push of a button. It drives on a standard car licence, and the LX version adds an inverter, 840 watts of solar and a washer-dryer.
Bruny
The Avida Bruny is a 7 metre motorhome on an Iveco Daily 50C, with an electric roll-down bed and a club lounge. It is rear-wheel drive, drives on a standard car licence and can tow 3,500kg with the optional tow bar. It comes as a B-Type with storage over the cab, or a C-Type with a second bed over the cab.
Diversion LX
The Avida Diversion LX is a 7 metre campervan on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 417 van, with an electric roll-down bed. It has a shower and toilet inside, leather upholstery and 300 amp hours of batteries with a 3,000VA inverter. It drives on a standard car licence.
Escape
The Avida Escape is a 6.4 metre campervan on a Fiat Ducato van, with an electric bed that lowers from the ceiling. It sleeps up to four and drives on a standard car licence. It has a shower and toilet inside, rear barn doors and a sliding side door.
Esperance
The Avida Esperance is a 7.85 metre motorhome on an Iveco Daily 50C, with a full-length slide-out and a queen bed. It needs a light rigid licence and can tow 3,500kg with the optional tow bar. The LX version adds 400 amp hours of batteries, a 3,000VA inverter, 840 watts of solar and a 200 litre water tank.
Explorer LX 4x4
The Avida Explorer LX 4x4 is a 6.3 metre gas-free campervan for two on an all wheel drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 419. It has 400 amp hours of batteries, a 3,000VA Victron inverter and 400 watts of solar. A diesel combi unit heats the air and the water, and it drives on a standard car licence.
Fremantle LX
The Avida Fremantle LX is a 9.2 metre gas-free motorhome on an Iveco Daily 70C, with two slide-out rooms. It runs on a 48 volt system with a 10.2kWh battery pack, a 5,000VA inverter and 1,000 watts of solar. It needs a light rigid licence and sleeps two to six.
Leura
The Avida Leura is a 6.9 metre motorhome on a Fiat Ducato, with an electric roll-down bed over the lounge. The kitchen sits behind the cab on the driver's side, and the bathroom is at the rear. It drives on a standard car licence and has a lithium battery and 420 watts of solar.
Longreach LX
The Avida Longreach LX is a 9.85 metre gas-free motorhome on an Isuzu NQR truck chassis, with two slide-out rooms. It carries 375 litres of fresh water and runs on a 48 volt system with 1,680 watts of solar. It needs a medium rigid licence and sleeps two to six.
Silverton
The Avida Silverton is a 6.9 metre motorhome on a Fiat Ducato, with a slide-out and an island bed. It comes as a B-Type with storage over the cab, or a C-Type with a second bed over the cab. It drives on a standard car licence.
