About the Podoroo
The Podoroo is a teardrop camper for two, with a double foam mattress, a 100 amp hour lithium battery and an 80 litre water tank. It is 4.25 metres long, 2.08 metres wide and 2.07 metres high overall. The pod has an aluminium frame on a galvanised steel chassis.
Inside
- Bed: a double foam mattress.
- Cabin: 2.9 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 1.36 metres high inside.
- Walls: 3mm aluminium composite panel inside, with insulation throughout, including the kitchen.
- Door: 800mm wide and 1,000mm high, with a flyscreen.
- Colours: choose the sidewall, roof, checker plate, storage box and cabinetry colours.
Kitchen, power and water
- Kitchen: a fridge on a slider and a stove.
- Battery: a 100 amp hour lithium battery with a battery management system.
- Water: an 80 litre tank with a stone guard and an electric pump.
- Gas: a cradle for a 4.5kg bottle.
- Lighting: lights inside and out.
Build
- Chassis: hot-dipped galvanised steel, sprayed with bitumen for extra rust protection.
- Frame: aluminium tube for the cabin and the sub-chassis.
- Outer skin: matte aluminium composite panel or gloss fibreglass.
- Axle: a three-leaf spring axle, with a standard coupling.
- Drawbar: galvanised steel, 1,350mm long.
- Warranty: a two-year structural warranty, serviced through your nearest RV centre.

What will tow it?
Ask Wotpods for the tare and aggregate trailer mass (ATM) on the compliance plate of the pod you order. Check them against your vehicle's braked towing capacity and towball limit.
How to buy
Wotpods quotes through the 3D builder on its website, with pickup in Melbourne, Perth, the Gold Coast or Sydney. Wotpods says: "Our own Wotpod models are manufactured in China, but with our specific designs, material choices, independent inspections and heightened quality control measures". Wotpods fits the battery, fridge, stove and gas bottle after each pod arrives in Australia.
