Family Wild Shark 3

The Viscount Family Wild Shark 3 is a semi off-road family caravan with a queen bed and a set of bunks. It sleeps four or five, depending on the bunk count. Viscount builds it as a semi off-road version of the V3.

Layout

It comes in one floor plan. The queen bed is on the left as you enter, with the kitchen and lounge facing each other on the right. The bunks sit further in, opposite the ensuite.

• Bunks: two, or three as an option.
• Dining: an L-shaped dinette or a straight lounge.

Outside, a slide-out checkerplate toolbox is sized for a generator.

Standard kit

Viscount says the Wild Shark range includes the V-Series standard features, plus more off-grid capability and upgraded appliances.

• Power: two 200 watt solar panels and a 200 amp hour lithium battery.
• Charging: a Projecta DC-DC charger and a Projecta battery management system with a digital display.
• Water: two 95 litre fresh water tanks, a 95 litre grey water tank and a water filter plumbed to the kitchen sink.
• Hot water: a Suburban instant hot water system.
• Fridge: a 218 litre Thetford compressor fridge.
• Kitchen: a recessed four-burner cooktop, a full oven and a pull-out pantry.
• Bathroom: a moulded shower, a china bowl toilet and black tapware.
• Suspension: independent coil springs with shock absorbers.
• Dust: a Milenco dust reduction system.

Outside

• Body: grey composite aluminium, with 550mm high checkerplate on the lower sides, front and back.
• Lighting: flood lights front and rear, and an amber or white annexe light.
• Inside height: 6 feet 8 inches, with roof hatches that have built-in LED lights.
