About the Desert Storm
The Sunseeker Desert Storm is a tandem full off-road caravan built in Queensland, and the top-spec van in Sunseeker's range. It rides on Cruisemaster stage 3 airbag suspension with ventilated disc brakes. It carries 900 amp hours of lithium and 1,540 watts of solar.
Chassis and running gear
- Chassis: hot-dip galvanised.
- Suspension: Cruisemaster stage 3 airbags.

- Batteries: three 300 amp hour batteries, 900 amp hours in total.
- Solar: 1,540 watts, with an upgrade to 1,980 watts.
- Water: three 95 litre fresh tanks.
- Gas: two 4.5kg bottles.

- Body: a 28.2mm fibreglass composite shell.
- Air conditioning: a GREE unit.
- Fridge: 224 litres.
- Hot water: a Swift 28 litre system.
- Grey water: a 100 litre tank.
- Toilet: a cassette toilet, with a composting toilet as an option.
- Laundry: a washer dryer.
- Wheels: 17 inch alloys.
Where to buy
Sunseeker's showroom is at Warana on the Sunshine Coast, with a second location at Wendouree in Victoria. It delivers Australia-wide and to New Zealand.
