About the Little Hutt 18'6
The Little Hutt is an 18ft 6in single-axle van entered through a rear door. It suits a couple who sleep better apart, or two adults travelling together who are not a couple.
Tare is 2,190kg and Highclere quotes ATM at 2.7 to 3.0 tonnes, a range that spans the three build tiers. Ball weight is 180kg. Ask your dealer which tier a quoted weight or price describes.
Two single beds replace the island queen most of Highclere's range carries. Inside, an L-shaped lounge sits on the door side, opposite the road-side kitchen. A cassette toilet, full-height fibreglass shower and 3.5kg top-loading washer share the rear ensuite.
Dynasty's oven is a gas and electric mini grill with a pot drawer. Step up to Carnarvon or Grand Explorer XT for a full oven. All three tiers run reverse cycle air conditioning. Dynasty and Carnarvon both carry a 188 litre fridge; Grand Explorer XT carries 224 litres.
Dynasty carries a single 100Ah AGM battery off 210W of solar. Carnarvon adds a second 120Ah AGM battery and doubles solar to 420W, with BMPro monitoring. Grand Explorer XT swaps in two 150Ah lithium cells, 630W of solar and a Victron 3000W inverter.
Highclere fits two 95 litre fresh tanks as standard. Carnarvon adds a separate 100 litre grey tank on top of those. Hot water runs on gas and electric.
Supagal steel, made in Australia, forms the chassis on a 6 inch main frame. Dynasty rides semi off-road suspension, Carnarvon rides full off-road. Grand Explorer XT adds a purpose-built truss chassis and air bag suspension. Ribbed aluminium sides and a fibre roof cover the entry Dynasty tier. Composite aluminium sides and a composite roof cover Carnarvon and Grand Explorer XT.
