About the Horizon 17.6
The Horizon 17.6 is Fantasy Caravan's 17.6ft multi-terrain caravan for two, with an ensuite, 800W of solar and 225L of fresh water. It sleeps two on a queen bed of 1520mm by 1860mm inside a 7.44m body. The ensuite has a fibreglass shower and a swivel cassette toilet, with two 12V power fans. The kitchen has a Thetford K1520 oven and cooktop, a Thetford 175L compressor fridge and a 20L microwave. The chassis and drawbar are 6 inch steel with a Cruisemaster DO35 hitch and an 8 inch swing-up jockey wheel. Suspension is single 2,800kg coil with Pedders shocks, on 265/75R16 mud-terrain tyres. Tare is 2,250kg, ATM (aggregate trailer mass, the loaded limit) is 2,800kg, and ball weight is 210kg. That leaves 550kg of payload for water, gas and gear. Power comes from two 300Ah lithium batteries, 800W of solar through two Renogy 30A solar chargers, and a Renogy 50A DC to DC charger. Water is three 75L fresh tanks, 225L in all, and a 75L grey tank, with Fogatti instant gas hot water. A myCOOLMAN rooftop reverse-cycle air conditioner, a Fusion stereo and annexe lights are standard. Outside it carries a manual pull-out awning and a toolbox. The body is 7.44m long, 2.38m wide and 3.1m high.
