Savannah-X Rear Slide

The Austrack Savannah-X Rear Slide is a hard-floor off-road camper trailer for families, sleeping up to five with two queen beds. Tare is about 1,630kg with the tent and ball weight about 140kg. It is registered to 2,250kg, which leaves about 620kg of payload. Both queen beds have medium-density foam mattresses, and the dining couches seat six and convert to a second bedroom. The interior is waterproof composite board with a timber laminate finish and storage under the seats. A stainless steel slide-out kitchen carries drawers, a sink with electric pump, a multi-burner stove, a grill plate and fold-out benches. The full annex is 5.5m by 2.4m with roof, walls, floor and draft skirt, plus a tropical roof and a privacy wall to the bedroom. An ensuite privacy room with a portable toilet and a portable gas hot water system are standard. Gas struts and quick-lock aluminium poles give a two-minute tent setup. Suspension is heavy-duty independent coil spring with twin shock absorbers per arm, on six-stud 4x4 hubs with 10-inch electric brakes. A large external fridge-freezer sits on a slide in the front storage, beside pantry drawers and a generator space. There are 240V outlets inside and out and a 50A Anderson plug wired to the batteries. The Stockton X7 is Austrack's family off-road camper, about 6m long, 2.3m wide and 1.9m high, sleeping up to seven on king and double beds. The build is timber-free: composite sandwich panel walls on a honeycomb floor, with a fully welded hot-dip galvanised chassis and drawbar.
